Bengaluru: Mukti Ranjan Roy, the killer who brutally killed Mahalakshmi and cut her body into 59 pieces in Vyalikaval, Bengaluru, has committed suicide.
It was reported that Mukti Ranjan Roy, who was absconding after the murder, had gone to West Bengal. But there is information that the accused is hiding in Odisha. Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar said. Now it is known that the accused committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Odisha.

Mukti Ranjan, who had come to Bhadrak village yesterday, left the house at night after staying at home for some time. It is known that he committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near Kulepada graveyard this morning. RD Fundi police reached the spot, recovered the dead body and sent it to Bhadrak General Hospital for post-mortem.
