Bengaluru: A student committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest, which took place in Bhavani Nagar, Uttara Taluk, Bengaluru.
Vishu Uthappa (19 years), a first year BE student, committed suicide by firing a gun. He is the son of Tammayya who hails from Kodagu. Tammaiah is working as a security guard in a Nice organization.
He was living in Bhavani Nagar under Madanayakanahalli Police Station for the last fifteen years. Father had gone out to fetch ration. On this occasion, Vishu fired the gun, called his father and said that he will not do wrong again. Hearing this, the father came home in shock and saw Vishu collapsed in a pool of blood. He was immediately admitted to the hospital, but the treatment was unsuccessful and he died.
Police have sent the body for post-mortem.
