Karnataka : The Special Tahsildar, FDA and attendant of Mysore Urban Development Authority, who received a bribe of Rs.14,000 to settle the land account, have been arrested by Lokayukta’s trap.
Karnataka Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Tahsildar, BK Srinivas, FDA Ranganna, Attendant Varalakshmi were caught red handed. Based on the complaint filed by Karthik Gowda, President of Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Forum, Mysore District the Lokayukta officials raided and caught the accused red-handed while taking bribes.

The Raid was led by Lokayukta SP Suresh Babu, Lokayukta DySP Krishna and Inspector Lokesh. Karthik Gowda had submitted the application and documents to account for 7 plots of Srirampur barangay. But he had delayed by not paying the account for almost two years. It is said that he demanded a bribe of Rs.20,000 to settle the account.
On the occasion of Human Right Day on Dec 10th HRACF – National President Dr.Mohan Rao Nalvade Invited Retired Supreme Court Justice Mr.N Santosh Hegde ,He had given such Motivational message on Corruption to the HRACF team which made Karthik Gowda approached the Lokayukta regarding the Tehsildar who was demanding Bribe.
