Bengaluru: Uber and Ola auto drivers besieged the Jayanagar RTO office and staged a protest. The protesters condemned the seizure of the vehicles by the RTO officials after the deadline given to the Uber and Ola companies had expired.
Ola-Uber companies for auto services in Bengaluru are charging more money from customers in the name of platform. The transport department has issued a notice to stop the service. But Ola and Uber companies have not given any response to this. Only cab service is allowed, auto service has been stopped and Ola, Uber, Rapido have been given a notice of 3 days. 
Ola and Uber companies offer taxi and auto services against the rules. Government has fixed fares for auto travel. For autorickshaws, Rs 30 has been fixed for the first 2 km and Rs 15 per km after 2 km. It has been said that the rent can be increased by 50% after 10 pm till 5 am.
However, this rule is not followed by Ola, Uber, Rapido. Taking 100 rupees for 2 km, they are giving auto drivers of 60 rupees and Taking away 40 rupees.
