Colombo: Self-proclaimed godman and rape accused Nithyananda has written to the President of Sri Lanka saying that my health has deteriorated and He need urgent medical attention.
Self-proclaimed godman Nithyananda is reportedly seeking political asylum in Sri Lanka, facing rape charges. Citing his deteriorating health, Nithyananda wrote to the Srilanka’s nation’s president on August 7, claiming he was in ‘urgent’ need for medical attention.
Nityananda has written a letter to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka requesting him to allow his life to be treated in Sri Lanka. The letter mentions the lack of medical infrastructure in the Srilakan state ‘Srikailasa’ founded by Nityananda.
As the health of Swami Nityananda of Bidadi Dhyanapeeth, who has left the country and settled in Ecuador Island, is deteriorating and there is a lack of medical facilities in that island nation, so my life is in danger, he has written a letter to the President of Lanka, Ranil Wickrama Singhe, asking for immediate medical needs for urgent treatment.
