BENGALURU: A Lokayukta team comprising Judicial officers and Police officers on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to various government hospitals, including those of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palika (BBMP), to inspect the lack of infrastructure, mismanagement, treatment provided to patients, distribution of medicines and other grievances.
A team of Lokayukta officials made a surprise visit to the hospitals today after receiving many complaints about the government hospitals in the city. Recently, Lokayukta officials made a mass surprise visit to the sub-registrar’s offices in the city to check corruption.
The 10 teams constituted by Lokayukta Justice B.S.Patil today visited Victoria Hospital, Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital, KC General Hospital, Minto Eye Hospital, Vanivilas Women and Children Hospital, Dr. Babu Jagjivanaram Nagar General Hospital, Halasuru Referral Hospital, H. Siddiah Road Referral Hospitals have been visited and checked.
