High Court orders FIR against contractor responsible for Ejipura flyover

Bengaluru :The High court of Karnataka has ordered the BBMP to file a FIR against Simplex Infrastructures Limited, the organization assembling the excessively postponed Ejipura flyover, and ordered that the state government drop the agreement with the company

A division bench headed by Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi passed the request on Thursday, taking note of that the organization neither reacted to the notification gave by the BBMP nor addressed itself in the court.

The court was hearing a PIL request filed by Adinarayan Shetty, a senior resident from Koramangala, who expressed that the postponement in building the 2.5-km-long flyover from Ejipura Junction to Kendriya Sadan in Koramangala had caused enormous misfortunes.

The court guided the public authority to give authorization inside seven days to drop the agreement. “The subsequent respondent will from there on make suitable strides for culmination of the task by its own means or by connecting some other organization. The undertaking will be finished quickly in a period bound way,” the seat said and coordinated the BBMP to refresh it on March 14.
