Legal Services Clinic from Karnataka State Legal Services Authority

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority will launch legal service clinics to enable the residents of the city to complete their accounts in a reasonable time.

The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) has come up with a new concept to address the real grievances of the citizens. KSLSA brings out ‘Legal Service Clinics’ which help to address grievances of electricity and water supply. It is being planned in every BBMP ward of the city.

The clinics are managed by lawyers, law students and para-legal volunteers appointed by KSLSA, said by Hon’ble Justice Mr. B.Veerappa -High Court Of Karnataka.

Announcing the establishment of the ‘Legal Services Clinic’ on Tuesday, Justice B Veerappa, President of KSLSA, said law students would be trained by the Karnataka Legal Service Cadet Corps in the model of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). These legal clinics will make sincere efforts to address the grievances by liaising with BBMP’s nodal authorities.
