100% Women Reservation In Govt House Allotment Scheme Unconstitutional; Discriminates Against Men and Transgenders: Andhra Pradesh High Court

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has held that the Government lodging plan which designate house locales only to ladies is illegal. “100% reservation in allocation of house site to ladies family is against the all out idea of equity. According to provision 2 of the plan, one House Site Patta will be given for a degree of 1.5 Cents to a qualified family for the sake of lady recipient of the house. 129 people had moved toward the High Court testing this statement battling that it segregated men and transgender from ladies in designation of house site.
