A massive JOB SCAM is currently targeting youngsters across Karnataka. Fraudsters are playing with the emotions of unemployed graduates and students, promising guaranteed placements in government departments and top corporate companies in exchange for money.
Do not fall into their trap! Your hard-earned money and career are at risk.
Real companies NEVER ask you to pay for a job.They ask for money upfront in the name of “registration fee”, “mandatory training”. Remember, no real company asks for money to provide a job.
They contact you out of nowhere offering high salaries for part-time online work or direct placements.
If any agent, consultancy, or individual asks for even ₹1 to secure a job, walk away immediately.
Never trust a middleman. Check the official company website or the official government portal to see if the job vacancy actually exists.Do not share your original certificates, Aadhaar, or bank details with unverified people.
If you or your friends have lost money to these fraudsters, don’t stay silent out of fear or embarrassment. Take immediate action.
Call 1930 immediately: This is the National Cyber Crime Helpline. If you report within the first few hours, the police can freeze the scammer’s bank account and get your money back!File a complaint online: Visit www.cybercrime.gov.in
Visit CEN Police: Go to your nearest local Cyber, Economic Offences, and Narcotics (CEN) Police Station in Karnataka.
