Bengaluru: The court has ordered judicial custody of JDS MLA HD Revanna, who is arrested in the kidnapping case, for 7 days.
Revanna was produced before the 17th ACMM Court in Bengaluru after the SIT custody ended today and the judge ordered his judicial custody till May 14.
Revanna shed tears while leaving the court hall after being ordered to judicial custody for seven days. The SIT officials have taken Revanna to Parappa’s Agrahara Central Jail.
In the case of abduction of a woman who had accused of sexual assault, the SIT officials are conducting intense investigation and have interrogated Revanna Apta.
The hearing of Revanna’s bail application was conducted today by Judge Santosh Gajanana Bhat of the Special Court of People’s Representatives. The hearing judge adjourned the hearing of the application till tomorrow. So Revanna’s future will be decided tomorrow. If bail is not granted, Revanna will have to remain in jail till May 14.
