Mysore : A tiger died on the spot after being hit by a car while crossing the road near Mandakalli Airport on the Mysore-Nanjanagudu road.
About one and a half year old male tiger died and the forest officials have recovered the dead body of the tiger.
It is learned that the incident took place this morning. The car was traveling from Mysore towards Nanjangudu when it collided while crossing the tiger road from one side to the other side.
Forest officials said that this was one of the four tiger cubs that were frequently seen in the outskirts of Mysore. The forest officials have now seized the car and are investigating.
