Bengaluru: Businessman and Former Congress leader Yusuf Sharif alias KGF Babu has faced another problem after the attack by Income Tax Department officials.
During the IT raid, more than a thousand voter IDs were found in the house of KGF Babu, and an FIR was registered against him at the Highgrounds station in Bangalore.
Police registered an FIR against KGF Babu on the basis of a complaint lodged by the Election Flying Squad officials.
IT officials raided KGF Babu’s residence in Bangalore on Wednesday. It is said that 1925 voter IDs were found in the first floor room of Babu’s house.
All voter IDs were accompanied by HDFC Bank checks worth Rs.5000. Sarees were stored in 26 bags on the ground floor, print copies related to Chikkapet assembly constituency and 481 expensive suits were also found.
