Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has issued a notice to the state government and other respondents seeking a probe from the central agency over the appointment of 33 assistant professors at the state-owned Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College and Research Institute in Shivajinagar.
The vacation bench of Justice S Sunil Dutt Yadav has given an interim order to continue Dr M Meenakshi Parthasarathy’s service at the institution until further orders
Dr. Meenakshi, formerly of Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, was transferred to the Atal Bihari Institute on March 8, 2019.
However, on May 4 and 5, the state government withdrew the order dated May 8, 1919. This caused the applicant to be shocked.
