Mumbai : A Mumbai city civil court has dismissed a defamation suit filed by Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Salman Khan has bought land from a man named Khetan Kakkad in a place next to the Salman Khan farmhouse in the Panvel region of Mumbai. However, in an interview with Khetan Kakkad Youtube Channel, Salman Khan filed a defamation suit in the Mumbai City Civil Court alleging that the controversial statements he made about himself and the farmhouse were harmful.
The petitioner requested that an interim injunction be issued in the future without making such a statement, and that part of the interview should be omitted.
However, the court dismissed the application without taking it to trial. Judge Anil H Laddad has ordered the next hearing of the case to be postponed to May 21, demanding an explanation on the charges against Khetan Kakkad.
