BENGALURU:<\/strong>\u00a0The Government of India has banned PFI<\/strong> (Popular Front of India )and its affiliates under the Unlawful Act for a period of five years. In this background, DG and IGP Praveen Sood<\/strong>, the head of the police department, has instructed the police to be vigilant across the state.\u00a0As a precautionary measure, it has been suggested to talk to Muslim leaders and hold local peace meetings.\u00a0Those who try to disturb the peace are ordered to be arrested.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There has been no protest since the central government banned the organization.\u00a0Strict action will be taken if anyone protests or clashes.\u00a0Karnataka DG and IGP Praveen Sood has warned that the police are on alert and will take strict action.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Strict precautions have been taken in Bengaluru city in the wake of PFI ban.\u00a0Bengaluru Police Commissioner Pratap Reddy has ordered to keep vigil in sensitive areas of the city.\u00a0Start patrolling in Tannery Road, DJ Halli, KG Halli, Shivajinagar<\/strong> where there is a large number of Muslim community.\u00a0He suggested to talk to the Muslim leaders.\u00a0All PFI (Popular Front of India ) offices in the city have been directed to be locked.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The central government has issued an order to ban PFI and its affiliates at the country level.\u00a0DG and IGP Praveen Sood of Karnataka said that the District Collector will issue a separate order at the district level in the next few days and give clear instructions about the ban.
