{"id":1412,"date":"2022-09-16T02:26:49","date_gmt":"2022-09-16T02:26:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anticorruptiontv.com\/?p=1412"},"modified":"2022-09-16T02:26:49","modified_gmt":"2022-09-16T02:26:49","slug":"disagreement-among-judges-cji-lalit-dismisses-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anticorruptiontv.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/16\/disagreement-among-judges-cji-lalit-dismisses-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Disagreement among judges: CJI Lalit dismisses report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span>New Delhi:<\/span><\/strong><span> CJI UU Lalit on Thursday dismissed any disagreement among the Judges of the Supreme Court regarding the new case list system and said that &#8216;all the Judges are of the same opinion&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Speaking at the felicitation function organized by the <strong>Supreme Court Bar Association<\/strong>, <strong>CJI UU Lalit<\/strong> said, &#8220;We have taken a new approach to listing.&#8221; The report is not in the correct state.\u00a0All the Judges are absolutely of the same opinion. A new listing system is in progress.\u00a0He explained that <strong>5,200 cases<\/strong> are expected to be settled since its introduction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul<\/strong> on Wednesday criticized the new list system as not giving enough time to take up the matters scheduled for trial.\u00a0A bench comprising <strong>Justice Abhay Oka<\/strong> said many cases could not be taken up during the afternoon session.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This was One of the changes introduced by CJI UU Lalit after assuming the post of CJI by hearing of cases in High Court on different days<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi: CJI UU Lalit on Thursday dismissed any disagreement among the Judges of the Supreme Court regarding the new case list system and said that &#8216;all the Judges are of the same opinion&#8217;.
