Bengaluru:<\/span><\/strong> Chamarajpet Bandh has been called for TODAY in connection with Idga Maidan dispute. The Chamarajpet Citizens’ Union has called for a bandh TODAY<\/strong>, demanding that the Idga ground should not be handed over to the Waqf Board, but should be kept as a playground. Against this background, the workers of the organization have demanded to support the bandh by pasting posters in front of shops and stores.<\/span><\/p>\n

Home Minister Araga Gyanendra<\/strong>, who spoke to reporters yesterday, said that he had already spoken to the officials regarding the ChamarajPet Bandh. I have suggested to ensure that law and order does not deteriorate.\u00a0More police have been deployed and cordoned off.\u00a0He informed that a heavy security has been done under the leadership of the Commissioner.<\/span><\/p>\n
