Bengaluru<\/strong> : The graduation ceremony of\u00a0St. John\u2019s College of Nursing<\/strong>\u00a0was held on 11th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2022 .The Chief Guest for the function was\u00a0Dr. M.K. Ramesh, MS, FRCS, Hon\u2019ble Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, \u00a0Bangalore, Karnataka<\/strong>. \u00a0The Archbishop of Bengaluru Most\u00a0Rev. Peter Machado<\/strong>\u00a0presided over the function.\"\"<\/p>\n

Rev. Dr. Paul Parathazham,<\/strong>\u00a0Director, St. John\u2019s National Academy of Health Sciences welcomed the gathering and in his introductory talk to the graduates stressed on the need of building character beyond education .The Chief Guest in his speech congratulated the graduates and also their parents for having made a choice to admit their children in this premier institution. He commended the quality of education and services offered by St. John\u2019s academy, and said that they were privileged to graduate from this meritorious institution which stands for integrity and\u00a0 quality . He emphasised the inevitability of change as a constant, the need to develop good communication skills and more importantly build social relationships which will help them in life.\"\"<\/p>\n

In his presidential address to the graduates the Archbishop appreciated the\u00a0nurses<\/strong>\u00a0dedication during the pandemic. He emphasised that\u00a0 nursing is not a profession but\u00a0 vocation to serve the sick and needy.\u00a0Lt. Col. Prof. Reena Menon<\/strong>,\u00a0 Principal College of Nursing presented the annual report\u00a0 and\u00a0Rev. Sr. Ria Emmanuel<\/strong>, Chief of Nursing Services administered the oath to the graduates.<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a0188 graduates received their certificates<\/strong>.\u00a0 Meritorious students\u00a0 were awarded prizes.<\/p>\n
